Action Man
The Action Man toy figure was first sold in Britain in 1966. It was based on Hasbro’s G.I. Joe figure.

The Stickle Bricks construction toy was first released in 1969 and primarily intended for younger children.

The original company behind these toy figures was founded by William Britain Jr, who invented the process of hollow casting in lead.
